how can i tell the exact year my ferguson was built? it has a tag on it with serial number and ferguson 30 on the hood.is there any other way to find the age?

Is there a small square plate on the dash above the steering wheel?
Should start out TO ##########.
write down that serial number and come back to this site and click on the link to the left called "Serial Nbrs". Go to ferguson (not Massey) and go from there. It is broken down my years, so find the range that your number falls in and it will be from that year.
Kind of fun.
