i just wanted everyone to know that i ordered a new steering wheel for my to-30 rebuild at the local dealer off of agco and it was only $17.60. i have seen them aftermarket for $50.00 plus. so if anyone needs a new one try ordering from your dealer. saved a bunch of money on that part. not to mention it looks identical to the one on my tractor, minus the broken parts and rust of course.

Vinny Question, was the steering wheel you bought all built up or the outter edge built up with the center spokes metal? That certainly sounds like a good deal. Thanks Richard

richard, the steering wheel was all built up. i have seen the two different styles, i like the look of the open spoked centers but mine came with the whole thing built up so i got a replacement. i don't even know if it came from ferguson like that or if what i have is a replacement. but what i have now is all built up. thanks and have a good weekend. see you all next week sometime...

I think you got more of a good bargain than what you realize. you should purchase a few more at that price and then re-sell. cheers, Murray

Sounds like he gave you the wholesale price. See what else you need while he is feeling generous.

first of all i would feel like i was taking advantage of my local dealer and i am not into that. they have come to my house before and helped me in the field with a tractor when no one else would and it did not cost me a dime. i am not offended by anyone but i could not do that to them or you guys in tractor land...anyway, when i went over there the parts guy told me before i went through my list of items that he will check agco first because sometimes things are cheaper, when he did that was the only thing cheaper than aftermarket and he was even shocked by that. so i ordered it and was happy with that but short lived the manifold was over 400.00 from agco and 139.50 from aftermarket. so it payed to look at agco first then search the rest of the books. thanks and have a good day guys.
