This tractor will be selling at auction this Saturday. It is about 16 miles from me and I am planning to go and see how much it brings. I checked the serial # and it looks like a 1951 T0-30. I went and looked at it last weekend. No one was around to talk to. It looks better in the pictures than in person....one rear tire was going down. I already own one T0-30...but who knows? If the engine sounds good, the oil pressure it up where it should be and it happens to go for under $1,000, I might own 2 Fergies. Disc didn't look too bad.

The Ferguson went for $2,280. They had it running when I got there....they had it idling the whole time. Oil pressure was between 1/4 & 1/2...I throttled it some and it went up to 1/2.
A lot of old guys standing around it, waiting for it to sell. The PTO was running, but the 3 pt. wouldn't go up. The old guys kept lifting them manually and commenting that it must need a filter replaced. Steering seemed nice and tight. I didn't see the disc sell, but there were a couple guys from where I work that were there. I'll ask them tomorrow. They had the implements drug out of the weeds and the disc looked good. Other implements looked well used.

Up here in NY that tractor would bring about 1800 to 2300 at aution if it ran at all.

Yeah, I guess I want to be there to make sure that it doesn't sell too cheap. I'm kinda of curious if they will even bother to start it. The guy did have a lot of guns, didn't he?

Looks like they have a lot of guns! Anyway, the tractor look decent, I'll bet it brings more than $1,000. Looks enough like a 9/8n to bring closer to $2,000. Don't get me wrong, 9/8ns are decent little things, but seem to bring 2x as much as they should pound for pound.

Good luck at the auction. I looked at the pictures. Around here the fastest way to get auction prices to become greater than the value of a product is to have tractors and guns present. That combination seems to bring out all the idiots that have no idea what the real value of something is. I see this auction also has guns.
