The Queen may not have bestowed such an honor upon you for international relations and I can truly say that it is her fault for being so shortsighted!
I am also of the belief that others on this board share the same sentiment.
I am also of the same opinion regarding the lightswitch versus the ignition switch. I believe I will install a plug into the light switch hole and install a water temp gauge into the other hole. Now to find a suitable water gauge.

I really don't know what to say about all that....lol. I will have to tell her next time I see her. Sparex do a suitable gauge which is part S04341 and I believe that NAPA also do one but I don't know the number for that. This Sparex one is the non-electrical type that uses the long capillary tube, but you could get an electrical one if you prefer. The adaptor that it screws into, which in turn screws into the top hose connection, you may have to locate somewhere else, although I think Sparex supplies one with the gauge to go into a Ferguson...John
