A new wrinkle, as If I needed one, Just got back from the country, and used the TO-30 to cut and carry some wood. Unfortunatly she still does the same thing, starts good the first time, turn 'er off and gotta wait 15-20 mins then it will start again. Well after turning her off I found out by accident, that if I leave the key turned off, she spins just like when she's cold. Turn the key on and it's back to ugh...ugh...ugh! Does that help anyone with a diagnoses? Do I have a dead short somewhere? If so does it have to be inside the distributor?

The wires going to your distributor are sized for a 4 amp load. The wire can probably take 8-10 amps. Your starter probably draws ~100 amps. Even with a dead short at the distributor I can"t see how that would make much of a difference and it wouldn"t last very long because the insulation would melt as well as the wire.
All your key switch should be doing is opening and closing the primary ignition circuit. How have you got it wired?

Turn the key switch on when this happens again and feel your wires. If you have a short somewhere, the wire will be hot.

Sounds to me like your key switch is bad. Sometimes that happens. Next time it happens put a jumper around the key switch (wire with two alligator clips) and see if it starts right up.

As I said in an earlier post, I"ve pretty much replaced everything electrical, including stater switch, coil, points and condenser, ignition switch, starter, and battery cables running ground cable from athe battery to the starter mounting bolt. Not to say I could"nt have missed something.

I assume you have slow cranking on a hot engine? Slow cranking should not be caused by something inside the distributor.

Why don't you try the same thing - turn on ignition when the engine is warm then use a jumper lead direct from the battery non earth/ground side, direct to the post on the starter and see whether it cranks normally or cranks slowly? If it cranks normally you will have isolated the problem to the starter circuit - bad earth or faulty solenoid (if you have a solenoid) or bad contacts in the clutch housing starter switch (if it has a clutch housing switch).

If you have normal cranking on a hot engine but it won't start, check the coil and condenser as they may be breaking down when hot.

I had a starting problem (in my TEA20) some years ago but traced that to the tank to carby fuel line getting too hot against the rear of the engine and vaporising fuel. I gave the fuel line more clearance from the engine and slipped a fiber glass sleeve over the fuel line.
