Was reading you posts on putting the z134 bearing into your z129 block you had rebuilt.
Wondering how it has worked out for ya.
I posted the question below regarding doing this very thing.
Thanks, mark

Ouch, you got me..... ....
Believe it or not, my father and I did a 6 cylinder conversion on a ford 9n. It uses a straight 6 ford industrial motor.
Quite a bit of frame work, as we did not have a cast iron oil pan to bolt the front end to.
There is a manufactured adapter plate that allows a truck motor to attach to a tractor transmission.
I have a 4.3 chevy V6 in my barn out of an S10 pickup..... ..and yes, I have held it close to a TO35 and bit my upper lip and wondered.
The machining of an adapter plate is WAY beyond my interest levels at this point.
You got me on this one, now we are even. Mark

Mark,
Just a thought here. Did you ever consider using a laser to make your adapter plate. We have a great place in the next town over here in Iowa to get something thing cut. They can easily cut 1/2" plate to exact sizes. If you make at template out of say, 1/8' masonite, they have a scanner that will read your template, make an autocad drawing of it, and cut an exact piece like it on the laser. Awesome! You can designate the hole sizes and they can make them within a few thousandths. You can't even start on a mill for what they'll to it for.
