item number: 330219203478

It's just a replacement axel trumpet... But what is unique is that it is still in the orginal Wooden Ferguson shipping crate.

I can't image they had to replace many of those.

That's a nice piece.... You don't see the crates very often.

Irv: Actually I kicked myself all the home for not buying another job lot. It was a complete, brand new, P3 diesel engine, all in pieces in sealed packages. It went for $5. It was all in boxes on the lower shelf of a workbench with the block sitting at the end of the bench and went as a job lot without any mention of what it was. There was a lot of old equipment and old tractors (14) in the sale which brought good prices. Then the auctioneer went to some old household stuff then to junk and scrap. Most people were picking up their equipment or had left and the owner said she wanted the shop cleaned out as well. That's where the good stuff was and only about 6 people around to bid. I justified not bidding as I had my wife's compact car and I already had about 500 lbs of stuff in it and no room for all those boxes of parts, and I didn't know that it would fit my TEA.

It sounds like the auction we all dream of. Can you imagine getting home and after digging throught the stuff, and finding out you bought a diesel engine for 5 bucks. Wow!!
