I got my Zane Thang. It wasn't too impressive looking when I got it out of the package, but it bolted on in about 15 minutes, is elegantly simple and works wonderfully.I think the Thang and an overiding coupler turn these old machines into really useful tractors.

The ZANE THANG allows you to have position or height control of the lift arms just like the 8N and later models.

The Thang gives you position control so that the implement stays at the height desired. It seems that there is an etiquette here about not giving the details of how it works. It really is a peach though and well worth the money if you mow or blade much.
