Serial number problem

When I bought my tractor I was told it was a to-30, problem is the number off of the motor serial plate doesn't add up. The number is 344591 and none of the lists seem to go that high, their only five digits. Is there a sure fire way to tell exactly what I've got. From other photo's it could be a to-20 or a to-30.

Don You have a TO-30. My dad has had his since it was new and it has a Serial Number of 321873. I did some research once and found out it is a 1952. Which dad confirms since he bought it then.

The serial number you need is located on a plate just under the steering wheel between it and the dash. You should be able to see it when sitting in the seat.

You can look up your serial numbers under research and info in left hand column from this page. One sure fire way to tell TO-30 from TO-20 is the Oil Filter, 30 is on side of Block, 20 is in bottom of Oil pan unless it has been altered.
