Hydraulics ??

Hello every body.
Just pulled the pump in order to get everything up to shape.
I have heard on this forum, that there is supposed to be an O-ring between the metal tube, that brings oil from the pump to the hydraulic cylinder, and the gasket ( I think ). When I took it apart I could not see anything like that.
I have a TEA-20-80 1948. serial 76848. Maybe that is before O-rings? SO! am I all set with just a gasket on raw metal when I put her back together?

Can't see any reference in the manual,only gaskets.
