TEA-2085 inlet vs. exhaust which is which?

I had the head/valves redone for my TEA2085 (standard engine). So.... I reattached it to the engine. When I went to set the gap (inlet is .0010 and the exhaust is .0012) I realized that I do not know which is which... can anyone tell me which valve is the inlet and which is the exhaust?? How's that for a REALLY dumb question? I'm assuming the the exhaust is the first one - moving from the steering wheel to the rad?

The first cylinder is one close to radiator.
To differentiate Intake and exhaust valves :
look at your intake-exhaust manifold and note corresponding holes with the valves to determine if it is IEEIIEEI or EIIEEIIE series. Sorry, I don't know it by hart.
