First time poster, long time lurker / reader.

I need to replace the throttle linkage in my TO30 (SN TO116638)

For the life of me, I cannot find it in the parts listing.

Does anyone know the actual part number(s) for the linkage from the throttle lever to the piece with the cork friction disk, and on to the engine?

Thanks,
/John

Sorry about switching those #'s. Sometimes happens when my brain thinks faster than these old fingers can type.

I just pulled one last week for a guy, who then said he didn't need it. PN is 181 672 M1. THey are not available as spare parts from the suppliers as I know of. If interested send me an e-mail.

the part # is 181 672 M1 that is for stud (1/4" x NF x 3-1/16") Kirk got 2 numbers turned around. I know how easy this is to do.

John,
If you are refering to the piece that Bob shows in the picture with the wrench according to my parts manual it is Ref.#12 Part #181 627 M1 stud(1/4"NF X 3-1/16") TO30 and TO20 are the same.
I am parting out a 1952 TO30 and might have the piece you need. I won't have time to check it until Friday. If interested email me.
Also I would suggest you pick up a parts manual. It will make things eazier when ordering parts and putting your ferguson back together. They have a cross over to let you know which parts are interchangable with the Ford N's. Might be eazier when scrouging for used parts.

John. Surprise - you've come to the right place!
I don't think those ball joint throttle connections are available as a Ferguson part, but I've seen them in some auto supply places.

Why not convert your TO30 to the Ferguson throttle linkage used on the TEA20? You can make it very easily and never have a problem again!

I posted photos in a recent thread but can't find it now, so here are the photos again:
