I still have not found the year of my little ferguson. It has a number on the motor which is S78405E. Is their anyone out there who could help me?

In a post back approx. a month, someone stated that you could take this number to a MF dealer and they could tell when the engine was made. I assume the serial no. is missing; is there a metal nameplate just above the steering wheel? The serial no. is on it if it's there. Usually there is a motor no. in addition to what you have; it should begin with Z--- if it is made by Continental. I'm not much help but that's my 2 cents. Perhaps the others can help.
