TE20 Rear Axles Seals

Hello, My TE-20 is leaking at the rear axles. I have read about SURE SEALs for the TO-20 and 8N's. Will SURE SEALS work on the TE-20. If so how hard are they to install? Anybody have any experience with them? Thanks, GM in VA

I have a te 20 that is dripping gear oil from the stud that holds the three point lift arm to the bottom of rear axle housing any ideas how to fix this leak. thanks pete

If you search the archives for sure-seals, you will get lots of good suggestions on easier ways to install them.

i put them on my te20 and they worked fine. just remember to pack your bearings with grease before reinstalling your axles.

That also should be short fiber wheel bearing grease that was typically used on drum brake cars back in the 60's. It tends not to get runny and melt all over the place. The hard part is putting it in. Too much and the seal won't go on. Not enough and the bearing runs dry. Better to have to remove some than not enough in there.
