My TO30 won't start, I hear a clicking coming from the solenoid so I suspect it is bad. The battery is fully charged. Can I purchase any Ford type solenoid to replace this one?

The problem is definatly your solenoid. I have a TEF-20, and it did the same thing, it also wouldn't engage. I sent it to a fergie specialist, who had to put a new solenoid on, that was 2 years ago, and it still works.
I think what happens to the solenoid when it clicks, is that current is passed through the solenoid, causing it to create a circuit for the starter, but as the current passes through the solenoid, it, I think, shorts out, and goes back and forward, ceating a "clicking" sound.
Hope this is some help, get a new solenoid.
Jack

Maybe you've done this, but first make sure your cables are the correct size and in good condition. Is your TO30 still 6 volt? That means larger cables than 12 volt system. Are the cable connections all good?

I have 12V system, cables look good. It was working fine then just quit.

Using jumper cables, try energizing the starter directly, bypassing the solineoid. If it runs, then it's got to be the solineoid.
