TO 30 hand crank

Can anyone tell me where the clips were placed that held the hand crank on the 30? Also, what they looked like. My Dad's 30 had a crank mounted at the flange between the transmission and the rear end with the long leg pointing down and the handle pointing up but I can't remember whether it was ahead of the flange or behind it nor the shape of the clips and which bolts they were mounted on. I do remember it moved enough to clang whenever you drove over rough ground. Anybody have any info on this???

Had one on a Te20 dad would stick it back of the lift lever down to the axle it will fit fine

Thanks! Some fuzzy memories are returning and I think the one on Dad's machine used two spring clips - one on top of the housing and one on the side where the TEA20 clip is. I don't recall any kind of rubber snubber. Then again his might have been something he made rather than bought. I will fabricate a few clips and see which works best.

Don: Don"t know about the TO 30 but imagine it is similar to the TEA 20. I uploaded a couple of pics showing mounting of hand crank on TEA in the "Parts and Pieces" gallery under Ferguson. One clip only. Piece of rubber wrapped around center leg to stop vibration noise.
