TO-30 Clutch Problem

The last time that I used my tractor was in December to scrape snow. The ZaneThang worked great. My tractor started right up today but the clutch will not dis-engage. The pedal moves and feels like proper resistance. Any suggestions on what the next step should be. I don't want to have to "split" my tractor if I don't have to.

My TO30 had the same problem when I first got it. I eased up to a large tree, and intentionally slipped the clutch until it began to smell. This must have burned off the rust/corrision on the flywheel, because the clutch has continued to perform normally since then(1988).I figured the clutch was no good the way it was, so what did I have to lose. I felt like you, splitting the tractor was not on my favorites list. Some previous posts suggested trying to pry the clutch loose from underneath, and other methods, you might look at them.
