My TO-20 throttle lever is in the wrong position. Idle is up at 12;00,and to raise hood you have to race the engine then return it, as i remember the lever was at 3;00.Did something slip in governor?. I checked all linkage, seems tight.took carb.apart(i thought the throttle plate was missing) it is OK any help is greatly appreciated. thanks Skip

Hi Skip, My TO-20 is the same way. I'm guessing the clamp on the radiator end can be repositioned. Haven't done it yet, but will do it soon as the friction disc is missing or worn out on mine and I have to hold the throttle lever for full engine speed. I heard rumblings from Twin you just got a deal on another tractor.... Thought you were thinning the herd.... Chuck

Thanks for all replys, I will check the front clamp by governor, its hard to look at linkages operate in front. My arms are not 3" long (I will get the boy, in fact he was on it when something went stupid).I have herd of a roll pin in governor. Chuck 1 1/2 fords followed me home from bartlett, then trailer axle problems,flat bed home $$$,been hunting,going hunting.tractoring in the middle. regards skip

I assume it is similar to the TEA20? If so, has the "U" clamp moved on the front end of the throttle shaft, at the governor linkage?
