Serial number on the engine is SC15953E, Serial number under the steering wheel 248872. Purchased Autolite plugs, 386 plug thread base is too wide 5/8", just purchased today 3116, same problem the thread is too wide. The plug hole is 9/16. I am using information that was taken from this board, di I have an odd ball engine ?????. Next problem, advice received on this board for the oil filter was 1107, this does not anywhere fit the matal cannister on the left side of my engine, the cannister on my engine is approximately 3' wide and 7: long. The oil gilter had to be a special order in at N.A.P.A. and came with a no return policy and delivery to the store $34.00 (expensive filter) the plugs hopefully can be returned for the proper size that will fit the opening. Sooooo after saying all this, I guess what I am requesting is what type of filter do I require and what type of plug, preferable Autolite, do I need to fit the opening. Not a great day for working on the tractor. Another thought just run through my mind would the 1107 filter fit my 3 cylinder perkins engine 135 MF???. cheers, Murray

The engine you have is just a normal Standard Motors gas engine as fitted to the Ferguson tractor. The oil filter and the plugs are available from CEFS in newcastle, Ontario.email sales@cefs.co. or phone 1-800-263-7900
the Sparex part numbers are S42611 or they quote another number for USA S61934. The original plug was Champion L10, they will probably supply NGK. the Oil filter is part S40535. The 1107 filter is for the Ferguson TE20 or TO20 with the Continental Z120 engine, you will have to ask your neighbours if they have one and unload it.
The filter for the MF135 is S40537...John

I"m not trying to hi-jack this post but I haven"t seem you post for a while John. There were a couple of hydraulic lift problems that you might have helped on.
