I have a 1-1/8" shaft on my TO-30 and to be honest I have never measured the diameters of the splines or grooves. The shaft how ever is kind of recessed relativee to the 1-3/8" shaft. That is, the 1-3/8" shaft sticks out farther and needs a longer shaft cover. I believe the seals are the same diameter because the basic shaft diameter for the seal land is the same for both drive ends. It"s only the drive end that is different. I have a 1-3/8" shaft that I am going to replace my 1-1/8" shaft with as soon as I can find the time to do it. I have a 1-1/8" to 1-3/8 adapter that i use for my sprayer and I could put my 1-3/8" ORC on it but the you have this big overhanging bunch of clap strap on the pto plus I"d have to recut my KingKutter driveshaft to get the mower to fit it. If all you are going to do is do some rotary cutting with the pto then the getting the 1-1/8" female and 1-3/8" male end ORC is the cheapest way to go. You just put it on and leave it on. If you have other 1-3/8" pto driven equipment (like a sickle mower,sprayer pump,etc that doesn"t require an ORC) you might want to consider replacing the 1-1/8" shaft with the 1-3/8" shaft (~$100 and includes the seal, bearing, bearing retainer, and shaft cover) and then putting on the 1-3/8" to 1-3/8" ORC for the rotary cutter. The other permutation is to buy a 1-1/8" to 1-3/8" adapter and then use a 1-3/8" to 1-3/8" ORC. But that gives you all the clap trap on the pto and I would not recommend that. I know I haven"t directly answered your question and I"m sure someone will have the correct measurements and provide them to you.
