I had been working on the motor and I had the exhaust off of the manifold today on my to-30.I started it and let it run for a while like this after awhile I notice oil on the floor under the manifold.the tractor run good just smokes a little should i worry about this oil.
PS it misses a little and it does not foul pluges yet.

Sounds like the valve guide seals are leaking and the smoke from the exaust, together with dripping oil from the exaust manifold tend to verify it. Another possibility is that the oil return holes are plugged with sludge. This will cover the valve guides with oil and tend to force oil past the seals. If it's the rings, a compression check will identify it. As long as oil pressure is registered and you don't hear unusal noises I would'nt think there is anything to worry about.

My T030 was blowing oil out of the manifold also. I'm replacing the valve guide seals and installing new rings and bearings since it's already torn down. Fortunately, I was able to hone the sleeves as opposed to replacing them. I,ll let you know the outcome and cost as soon as it's done.
