I heard from Canadian Ferguson's owner that there are 2 old Fergie : 20-80 and 20-85

Is the 20-80 refer to TE/TO-20 equiped with the Continental 119 CID engine ?

Is the 20-85 refer to TO-30 equiped the 129 CID engine ?

Who knows the answer ?

Thank you in advance, Roger

The 80mm bore model was the petrol version and the 85mm bore the vaporizing oil (kerosine)alternative. Bob

The 20-80 refers to a TEA20 with an engine built by Standard Motor Company having a 80 mm bore. The 20-85 is the same except for having a 85 mm bore. I wonder why they used metrics for the bore and piston only. the rings were given inch fraction thickness. The rest of engine is american measurement.
