TO-20: Hood solutions for Loader front pump and frame?

Yes, of course, both the loader front pump and frame interfere w/ Hood/Grill on my TO-20. So the hood/grill are off the tractor for now. To both have a hood in place --- and still be able to access the fuel and radiator caps --- how well would a TO-35 or Ford N-series hood substitue on a TO-20? Would they mount the same way and fit right? Or at least just set in place over the gas tank/radiator, etc?

I cannot believe my total ignorance and complete ineptitude. I have a "20 that is getting the front loader pump. I was intelligent enough to consider modifying the front loader grill to tilt. I just kind of overlooked the shaft coming through the front grill. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
However, that was last night and today I hopefully can modify the front grill to stay in place and the hood and doglegs to tilt around the grill. We shall see!

Hi Bruce - at least you must have a crankshaft pulley that fits the shreave, etc., etc...I'm still looking. Two places have them but they're still on backorder w/no end in sight...Good luck on with the doglegs/grill!

This is a TO 35 hood on a TO 30 tractor. I wasn't involved in the fabrication but I understand that the dog legs had to be modified. And yes, you can access the radiator and gas caps just fine.

Hi Steve - just to confirm, that's an access panel that runs the length of the top of the hood,right?

Yup, it's kind of hard to see in the picture. It's probably three feet long and eight inches wide with a knurled screw type latch. The dashboard latching system on the 30 works on the 35. I'd guess it would work the same on the 20.
