Hey gents, I have a couple of questions. First, my '55 TO-35 came with an add on hydraulic remote coming out of the right side cover plate on the top cover of the hydraulics. I have the block off plate which fits over the place where the remote is located, it apparently attaches with four bolts. Is it easy to properly remove the remote and install the plate? I don't have any equipment which uses remotes, and the coupler keeps getting filled up with debris.
Second, in a response to "hydraulic control fork???" on 9/21, Ron8n9n says that the hydraulics on the Ford n-series and the Ferguson TO series are the same. Is this true? If so, it opens up many avenues for parts!!

The hydraulics on the TO-35 are not the same as the N-series.

All the parts you need are available from a sparex dealer.

I think the 9N, 2N, TO 20 & TO 30 may be the same but the TO 35 is altogether different as it has a position control and the others do not and is also a live hydrolic setup as against a transmission driven with PTO setup

I may have already answered this...NOT ALL the parts from Ford are the same as Ferguson, you need to be careful when ordering. If you need a Control Fork, the Ford one will fit providing you don't have "O" rings in the side chambers of your Pump on the Ferguson. Try a wreckers yard for a proper Ferguson one.
