I just picked up what appears to be a TO-20, but the seial number tag behind the steering wheel says "TO 429...can't read the rest" Is this some type of industrial model? It has a Z120 Continental engine. Also looks to have been painted a light yellow at some point. Any thoughts?

The light yellow color could have been because it was used by a municipality or school, perhaps to clear snow or to mow. It probably was a special paint job for a specific purpose like that.

Any way to determine the total number of numbers in the serial number? ie: 3 numbers TO429 would put it as a 1948, 4 numbers TO429x would be 1949. Just a thought

Appears to be 5 numbers. I suppose this would make it a 1951 model?
