I am wondering if any other owners out there know where I can find a nice bolt on bumper to fit a t0-30 tractor. and if it would accept weights. I am using my 30 for bush-hogging and would like to add some weight to the front end. It is still scary to start off in low gear and watch the front end to make sure it sticks to the ground. Is it as easy as just adding some weights up front. ?? I am getting ready to go out and mow some roads for hunting at the farm and would like some input. thanks in advance

Saw a front bumper for sale last weekend, probably at the Charles City, Iowa show. Don't know if it would carry many suitcase weights. There were some Deere front wheel weights there too. They won't fit my MF-135, I have a set but I mount them on the outsides instead of inside the wheels. Need some more to fit inside.

Most every place that sells Ford parts and acceessories has a front bumper that will fit the TO-30 also. Kim won't let me enumerate them because she sells those parts on this forum too.

One old catalog handy to my computer says the same bumper/hitch fits all Fords and Fergusons and MF. It weighs only 32 pounds. And cantilevered out from the front axle with just one bolt through the axle on each end, it probably bends it or the axle if you stand on it so it probably wouldn't take many extra weights.

You may get more weight with wheel weights, or liquid filled tires though skinny front tires don't hold much liquid. I won't allow liquid in my tires after seeing that it does when it leaks (and mine was an old tire that split an inch, then pinched the tube so it sprayed). Other liquids besides the conventional (and very heavy) Calcium Chloride may not rot the tractor instantly when they leak.

I have a set of front wheel wights I would be willing to sell if you're interested. They are heavy and a bit pricey to ship. If interested, let me know where you live. Perhaps we can figure something out on how to get them to you.

Wheel weights will work. The same ones that fit a Ford of similar size will also fit the TO-30 front wheels.

One of those scoops with the trip bucket that fits on the three point hitch works well as a counterweight for the loader. You can fill it with as many rocks as you wish.
