I'm looking at buying a 7', 3 point, #25 tandam Massey disk. I'm wondering what type bearings they have and if parts are still available. Also wondering about the weight and any other issues they might have, if any. It looks a little weak at the top link but it's still in one piece. Also, what might be a fair price in good condition, all blades are there and like new, bearings/flanges look tight and in place. It's exactly like the one pictured in the photo forum.

Can anyone make any suggestions on other disks of this size out there that are as good as or better than this Massey? I sure like those adjustment handles.

Thank You,

scott#2

We had a 6ft Ferg disk once, I did not think it leveled the ground good. I did like the adjustment, but believe it had wooden bearing blocks. If this disk has wooden bearing blocks they could be hard to find.

I have a Altas 6ft disk with notched blades front and back, its all my T0-35 needs and it cuts well. It has screw adjustments. I would not get hung up on easy adjustments, we never changed the adjustment. It also levels the ground well.
