Make sure you dont buy a sherman that someone says its in ok shape and a pos. It'll be nothing but a headache in the long run and cost ya lots of $.

Dont buy a ford one either - theres quite a few differences between the cases and u'll lose the start feature of the shifter.



I found this out the hard way and have over $1200 in making my sherman correct.

I have many aux transmissions, 45 yrs experience.
I have a step up made for ferg, and many more., and parts.
The sherman overunder will fit ferg with some minor adjustments/grinding. You must move the starter button. Hupp made a good overunder for ferg. But sherman is the toughest.

They're around. Shermans are most common. Do your homework. Make SURE that you get the correct top cover for the Combo. The Shermans from the Fergies will go into the Fords but NOT the other way around. Check the Ford Forum archives for the pics/differences. Good luck,
