TEA 20 Engine I.D.

Me and my dad just got a 1955 TEA-20 Ser.440049,and we are triying to identify the engine. The oil filter is located on the left side and we found two numbers one was on the left side 5C93619EVR and one located behind the carb it was hard to see but we think it was 6866D. if any one could help that would be great!

I have a Ferguson 20TVO. I would like to know if there are parts available for its full restorage.
It was manufactured in 1951 and our late father bought it in 1967. It is now rusting in a ditch, but we would love to restore it. It is in Ireland in County Cork. The engine would need a complete overhaul and reboring. Also the hydraulic. One step at a time, engine parts first.

The engine is almost certainly the standard motor company engine, up to serial no 172598 it was fitted with 80 mm bores there after it was fitted with 85 mm bores (as was the TED but this was fitted with a low compression ratio cylinder head so it could run on TVO without Knocking) the bore size is usually behind the carb. on the block.

If it's a TEA it has a Standard motor company engine. I don't have the TEA serial #s in front
of me so but you must have checked and are sure its a TEA. If it were a TE you would have a z120 on the block. Standard engines have a external filter as you dicribe.

The TEA 20 has an english engine manufactured by the Standard Motorcar Company. TEA 20's are the same tractors as the TE20. Only difference is that the TEA20's were made in Coventry England with the Standard engine and TE20's used a Continental engine. TE20 engine specs as follows: Bore&Stroke- 3.19*3.75 inchs, Displacement 1,966 cc, 24 belt hp. ciao!
