Got a Massey 135 serial number 9A 167745 can anyone tell me what year.
Also I have a beam type front axle at the pivot point when I jack up the front I have about 3/4 inch slop front to rear and about 5/8 inch slop up and down are there supposed to be some bushings in there
And when ordering what kind of front end do I have

When you say "beam type" do you mean the swept back type with Radius Rods that run back to the footrests or the straight axle type.
In both types there are bushes and you will find that the Pivot pin is badly worn as well, from how you describe it I wouldn't be surprised if the centre axle beam was junk now.
The one with the Radius Rods is called the swept back type and the other one is the Straight axle.
