I've searched and search for a replacement but can only find a set for the T035....is it the same?

The Ring Gear and pinion for the diff assy is the same as the early TE20/TEA20's.(not TO30) You could also fit a complete back end of another tractor in place of yours, even if it is the later type with the heavier axle-shaft it will fit.

Are you saying that the ring gear and pinion for the TO35 is the same as the TO20? I know the count of the teeth is the same....6 for the pinion and 37 for the ring gear.

According to my parts list the TE20 and the TO35 are different. I was referring to the TO30 when I said about using another back end. The TO35 gear I am sure is heavier than the TO20 and is a larger diameter. The diameter of the TO20 gear is 12.66 and the TO30 is 13.15, you are correct about the number of teeth being the same though, it was just that they lengthened the driving surface of the gear teeth, so the diameter had to be larger. Check the diameter of the gear...John

You won't be able to buy a pinion by itself. Bevel gears are always made in matched sets. [At least with the older non-digitized machine tools.) This implies that you are asking for trouble if you mix up used parts as well.

I'm sure one of the tractor wrecking yards should have a TO20 Crown Wheel & Pinion.

Thank you for the reply. Yes I noticed that, but again, when I search for the set, I still only find the T035.
