I am looking at purchasing an entire barn of original ferguson implements. She is an elderly widow and I want to be fair.
3 pt disk
2 bottom plow
3 bottom plow
boom pole
scoop
sickle bar mower
cultivator
sub soiler (not ferguson)
any values will be printed and shown to her.
Thanks, Mark

Mark, all of these (with one exception) having Ferguson tags means a lot to some people, nothing to others. It depends. But as another post said, a good working disk is always in high demand and probably would bring at least $300. Also, the corn planter in the shape you describe is often pricey and I would think that might go for $300 or so as well. I have seen them over $500 on occasion with the right buyers. Plows range from $80 to 250, depending on the condition and your proximity to Ferguson potential buyers. If the plows have the coulters and a good trailing landside and wheel, that adds to their value a great deal. Cultivators and scoops and boom poles rarely top $100 no matter the condition, usually $50 - 80. That"s my experience here in Virginia.

Thank you.
The condition on these is very good. She received a TO 30 and all these implements as a graduation present in 1954. I already have the tractor. She left the farm in 1985 when she got married. These have been dry and under roof for almost 20 years. I forgot to mention a 2 row planter with two sets of hoppers (corn and bean) they all four have the ferguson decal barely worn.
She is a member of my family and I am insistant on keeping these as a set. It was a very small farm and the tractor and implements seen very limited use. I would like to clean everything up and just line them around pole barn. Opening up her barn, which luckily hasn't been in for 20 some years, is truely walking back in time. I appreciate your input, as I have been copying many classified adds from this forum as well as your (and others hopefully) input and am creating a folder of prices. As a way to show my effort to be fair on these purchases.
Sincerly, Mark

Mark, value depends on condition & rust. I just sold several implements at auction last weekend. My medium rusty, but complete, 2 bottom Dearborn plow brought me $90. A 3 bottom plow right next to mine sold for about the same, they just ain't worth what they used to be worth. My slightly rusty cultivator brought me $50. I saw a couple boom poles, in good condition, sell for ~$80 each. I've been pricing good, used 5 foot disks, it is hard to find used disks in GOOD condition, and when you do, they seem to sell for >$300. I bought a used subsoiler last year at auction, 24 inch shank, good condition with removable chisel, paid $60 for it.

George
