Anyone know where I can get a new set of push rods for my Z120. I did not see anything in in Sparex or Tisco catalogs or on this site in the parts section.

If not available then what needs to be checked and how do I recondition then, if possible?

If you cant find new rods they may be repaired.I have used Rodneys machine shop in Jarrettsville Md. I must say this guy forgot more about tractor engines then alot of people know. If he cant help you he knows who can. John

I would try Mid America Power Center, www.midamericapowercenter.com, (800)328-0916. Their online catalog is not yet up and running, but I've heard good things about them. Give 'em a call.

The rods are not heavily bent but they do wobble a little when rolled on a flat surface. More serious is that the ends that engage the litfers are worn considerably and have raised "points" in the centers of these ends.

Try monte's equipment. They supposedly specialize in Continental parts. www.montesequipment.com
