Don"t know about the non-pressurized part, but I had the same problem with our TE20. The one ordered from YT was much too small. John(UK)says the TEA and the TE should be the same - I ordered the one for the TEA from YT and it was a perfect fit. Just be sure you have the original TE20 radiator and not a replacement. Hope that helps.

The cap on my radiator is huge and says water on it.Looks like radiator came off an old oliver or something. Im just not sure if it will work correctly, or if te20 must te pressurised. The person I purchased tractor from used it for at least 25 years.Just dont want to hurt anything. Thanks Danny

The cooling system on your tractor should be pressurised to 4lbs psi. The reason they pressurise the cooling is that it raises the boiling temperature of the water so if you use yours unpressurised it will quite quickly start boiling. In very hot conditions you can fit a 7lbs psi radiator cap to lift the boiling temperature a bit more. You must check the ignition timing and the carburettor settings that they aren't too weak or retarded before you fit this cap though.

Danny, the man you need to talk to is John(UK), a regular contributor to this forum and the TE series guru. His email is [email protected].

If it is the same as the TEA20, 4 psi for light work, 7 psi for heavy work. John (UK) will know!
