I broke the right rear axle on my TE20--does anybody have a spare for sale??? from my reading on this site it seems they may have changed the splines somewhere along the lines--mine is an early model with 16 splines. Thanks in advance
Darren

If you mean the "axle-shaft" the early ones did have 16 splines and the later ones had 19 splines, obviously they will not interchange. You can fit the later back end complete to an early tractor though. That is from the back of the Transmission rear-wards. There should be some of these Axle-shafts around with the large numbers of old tractors that have gone to the wreckers.

Will a early TE 35 work?

Hm... there is no such thing as a TE 35. A TO 35 yes. A TO 35, FE / MF 35 axle will not fit an early TE 20.
