I'm working on a TO-20 for a friend. Was the TO-20 equipted with an ammeter. This tractor does not have one. Its not that it's missing there is no place for one on the dash. It has 2 gauges
oil pressure, and water temp. Is this normal?

I believe that it did have an ammeter (mine does), and that probably somebody put the temp guage in the ammeter hole (on the left side of the dash)on your tractor. The early ones may have had just the warning light, but I'm pretty sure that the ammeter was standard with most of the TO-20s.

Was able to find a manual on a TO-20 and found my own answer. Warning light but no ammeter
