Has anyone else seen this Live PTO add-on on Ebay? I have heard of these and always thought it would be cool to have one, but I don't think I want to spend that much! It may be worth that due to rarity, but I dont know...we'll see if anyone takes it. Its still nice to see pictures of one though.

Yes, I have a working unit in a TO-20, serial number 2502 (1949 model). I acquired the tractor, not knowing what the attachment was, but after research, learned they are a very rare Sherman unit, mostly seen in Ferguson's, but I saw a picture of on e on a 8N.

looks similar to the M&W units found on some of the farmalls. I had hear you could get them for the fergies and n series fords but this is the 1st one I've seen. I'd like to have one on my to-30 but I'm not willing to spend that kinda money and still have to install it.

The rather high starting bid is probably why no one has bid on it yet. Some people think that whatever they have is worth a fortune...

I talked to the guy that built my sons house and he said that he has the live pto kit in his Ferguson. It was kind of funny when I drove my TO-20 up to the building site to do some landscaping work. He actually thought that it was his tractor. I should really go and look at it as he lives less than ten miles from my place.
