I have a TO 20 that is giving me some what of a problem.the 3pth will raise with out a problem,and most of the time it will go down,but at times it will not release unless I block up what ever it is that I have on the 3pth at the time,when I take most of the weight off it will drop,( kinda have to be a little extra careful doing this) any help would greatly be appreciated ,thanks in advance , have received good advise in the past from this site ,its just great,thanks again

It would seem that the Control Valve is sticking. When it does this, have you parked the tractor and when you come to it again it won't drop. The Hydraulics were not made to hold up like that, if it only does it when you park, then drop the implement each time. To cure the problem the Control Valve would need changing in the Pump. On some tractors it is possible to change the Valve without dropping the Pump out of the tractor, on those fitted with an Agitator it will be necessary to drop the Pump. You could also check the Draft Control Spring on the rear of the Tractor behind the seat, does it have a lot of play in it, you should be just able to turn the spring by hand when you have the implement raised. If there is a lot of play then it will require adjusting but it will most likely be rusted up and if you try to adjust it you may bend something inside. The top would have to come off to do this, don't take the Top off unless you know what you are doing or you may break the Control Valve.
