TO-30 Lower Links touch ground

Got this new TO-30 with 18.4-something lawn tires and when I lower the 3 point the links touch the ground ? Wondering what to do. Thinking about takeing off the lift shaft arms and repositioning them so they would be the normal distance above the ground. Wondering if it whould then go up to high ? Anyone run into this problem and has a suggestion ?

If the tractor sits low to the ground on those tyres and you move the lift arms on the Cross-shaft, it will then lift too high. Normal ground clearance is around 13" depending on what tyres it has on. If the clearance is less than this the only way is to do as Jerry suggests and fit another levelling lever to the l/h side.

Mr. John , Thanks, Around 13" !! The TO-20 is only 6-7" and that has the 28 inch tires.
Now all I need is that nice girl and at least $1,000,000 !!!

The lift arm links are adjustable so you can shorten them to get your links off the ground, The right hand link has(or should have) a crank adjustment and the left side has a threaded "turnbuckle". Remove the upper pin and then screw it to the desired height.

Look around on ebay and see if you can find a right hand one with a crank and install it on the left side. Then both of your lift lnks will be adjustable. If there are any tractor salvage yards where you live, they migh have one. I have an exra but I don't really want to part with it.

Put the 11 hole bar and the two adjustable lengths where they belong that form a triangle.TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT.IT looks good too.Now you will have a good drawbar. CENTAUR

Hi, Have the 11 hole drawbar but not the pieces that you mention. Would like to get those 2 pieces and the j bolts.
If I would put on the 11 hole drawbar and the deally that stopes it from turning, it would be right on the ground.
Mentioned this to Mr.John in UK but he must have forgot about it when he answered other questions.

Seems like these tires should not be on (18.4-16A) but don't have extra $ at this time for new wheels, rims and tires.
