Just got my TO-20 back from the shop this past weekend where it recieved a brand new crankshaft. Took it out yesterday and bushhogged with it for an hour or two, ran like a new one.
Today I used my finish mower and it ran good for about an hour or so then it started acting as if it was having a fuel delivery problem so I shut it down for probably 5 minutes and started it back up went to mowing, mowed another 45 minutes and it started having the same problem so I shut it down for about 10 minutes, started mowing for about 15 minutes with no problem (I am done mowing) I am just trying to figure out what the problem might be so that I can fix it before my next mowing time.

Just a guess of course, but my money is on trash circulating in the tank, perhaps occasionally stopping up fuel flow, as Bruce mentioned.

Thanks for the 'trash' idea I was kind of thinking that myself though the idea about the gas cap not venting is not too far off either since there was a time or two that when I removed the cap it was under pressure, but I would think that this would be a more instant cure to the problem than it was.

You might want to check the fuel filters also...

You might be having a vacuum problem with the gas cap not venting. Check the cap vent or losen it the next time you use it for long periods. The lower the fuel the longer it takes to pull a vacuum.
