My TO 35 Deluxe has the original gas tank. It became very rusty inside and continually plugged the sediment bowl intake port. I made many inquiries on how to repair the problem. Good old farmer ingenuity worked again. My Massey dealer referred me to a body shop in Brodhead, Wisconsin. Arn Brothers sand blasted the interior and coated it with some type of seal for $110.00 plus tax. Tough to beat the deal and the result is "like-new" in performance. Look 'em up on the net or email me and I'll provide their address and phone. They did the job right and my Fergie purrs once again.

Numerous companies make the epoxy type coating. I fixed my tank by putting approx. 5# gravel in it and having the kids roll it around the yard for a couple hours. I cleaned out the tank mixed up the coating, poured in tank and sloshed around welland emptied out excess. Tank still fine. Cost- $35
