Pull starting a 2N

I never have trouble starting my TO30 but my brother has a 2N and has trouble getting it going. We were wondering if it would hurt anything to pull start it with my tractor? I assume being a standard trans of course, that would be no problem but he is afraid it might mess his tractor up somehow. Can anyone confirm my opinion that its okay to pull start it? Thanks

Pull starting is ok, just don't let the fix or repair daily, rub off on your fergie! Seriously, pull start with the Ford in high gear. You don't need to go fast with the tow vehicle, 2nd gear with the Fergie, but the Ford will just slide it's wheels in the lower gears,be aware though, the driver of the towed tractor must be quick on the clutch & brake when it starts, or run into you! Good luck!
