This is a pic of the genny on my 1955 TO-35 - Serial # 141741. I believe its all stock. Except I currently don't have a tractormeter cable. I've got the meter, and it appears to move when I spin the input. If I did have a cable, where would I connect it on this genny? Is there another part I need? I've got the parts manual, and service manual for the tractor (bought the ones from ytmag).

I have one of these on my 1957 to-35 and they are a pain.

If you are going to spin the money for a cable and parts for your generator. I would spend the money on a electronic tach.

Just my two cents and I have one of these 50 year old tractors.

You can get the tach drive from any parts dealer who has an account with Sparex (wholesaler).

You need the tach drive. It bolts to the end opposite the pully. Once mounted, it is obvious how/where the cable mounts (there will be a matching male thread). You do want to be careful about getting the square end of the cable to into the square inside the drive.
Sincerely, Mark
