I am attempting to remove the lift arms and lift arm shaft from the lift cover. Other than dynamite how can I get this frozen mess apart?
Have a good one!

The problem will be rust, usually the outer lift arms present no problems but you may have to heat them if they are as bad as you say. The inner one was always bad to get off, they rust because of condensation in the housing, very often they are no use when you do get them off. Try heat and soaking in a penetrating oil of some kind.

The manual makes removal sound straight forward. After you remove the lift cover from the case, remove the bolts and the washers and slide the rockshaft out. Obviously, that not working for you. You may have to press the rock shaft out or hot tank the lift cover with just the shaft in it to get it to come out. I can't imagine what could be rusted to make it hard to remove. The shaft is sitting in a couple of bushings and the ram lift arm is splined to it.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
