The starter switch is available from a Sparex dealer or from this site(YTMAG) only if you are in USA. The Sparex part Number is S42538.
To locate your nearest Sparex dealer contact [email protected] for USA or [email protected] for Canada. Don't forget to tell them your location. When you remove the old switch be careful not to drop the operating rod, tie some string around it before you detach it from the switch. You will need to adjust the switch when you fit it, use a lamp across the terminals to make sure that the switch closes and lights the lamp when you press the gear lever in start position if you don't it will burn the contacts.

Why would he change the starter, does he know it is u/s. He should check the switch first if there is any doubt about it, otherwise it starts getting expensive.

It would help to know the Ferguson model. Nonetheless, try the parts folks at the left of this page or www.sparexusa.com
