Transmission vent plugs in T035

Hey guys, I have another question about my 1955 T035. Is this tractor equipped with vent tubes or plugs for the transmission/rear end? In my job as a mechanic, I know that when a vent plug or tube on a transmission or differential gets clogged the pressure causes seals and gaskets to leak. There is a plug of some sort in front of the steering column on the transmission. It looks like it has a metal check ball in the bottom of it, this plug certainly doesn't allow air to pass through it easily.

The neutral starter switch has nothing to do with venting. If your lift cover has a vent, it will be on the top left side of the hyrdaulic lift cover, in an indentation just a few inches back from the front. It is called a breather assembly.

I believe the device that you are referring to is the neutral safety switch. If wired and functioning this prevents starting the engine unless the range selector is in neutral.
