Will an axle from a TE20 work on a TO20?

Yes they will fit, the difference between the two axles is that the later one has a heavier Bush for the Pivot pin, as long as you use the correct Pin it will fit. Check the diameter of the hole for the bush, it is bigger on the later type, it is the same as the early type 35 too.

They are two different part numbers. Don't know what the difference is.
