well joe...if there's coolant/antifreeze coming out of your vent tube, it's something more than just condensation. i'm kind of confused tho when you say it's a mixture of both, but more water than coolant. your coolant is already mixed with water right? one other thing, you're absolutely sure it's coming OUT of the vent tube right? not dripping down it from the outside? is there any other indications of moisture/coolant anywhere else on the block, around the fan or radiator? or maybe leaking around the head gasket where the head and block meet? also, have you checked your oil? is it clean and dark brown or black, or is it a lighter milky color like there's moisture mixed with it? from the little you've described, i'm thinking like Jerry said, it's possibly either a head gasket problem, a cracked head, or a cracked block you''re dealing with. there's only one way to find out for sure and that's to start tearing it down. before you do tho, inspect everything very closely. all the things i mentioned above and also all your radiator hoses. i had a radiator hose in one of my cars with a tiny pinhole leak in it one time, that was shooting coolant back on the engine and then dripping off. it took very close inspection in good light to see that tiny stream of coolant. for a while i was afraid i had a cracked gasket, head or block. let us know if you find anything else, and if you need more help let us know what you need. try to be as detailed as possible with whatever you bring back here. i don't know how much you know about engines and repairing them, or all the "correct" terminology, but don't worry about NOT knowing and maybe asking what seems like a dumb question, cuz there are no dumb questions here. there are only a couple of us on here that are "experts" and true tractor mechanics. the rest of us are just tinkerers and "shade tree" mechanics (like me). but we all do the best we can to help each other out. -mike
