I was so excited today with my newly restored TO30 Ferguson 1952. I have a 9N and a 2N as well but I have fallen in love with my Ferg. My ex's new husband bought an International 404 tractor from me and was having trouble trying to mow with it in the wet and swamp like soil. My 2N just would bog down and die so I hooked up my Ferg and went out there to help. She drove right up to the big tractor and bush hog and pulled them out without even a hesitation. Im a believer and both of the Fords are going up for sale. Anyone got another Ferguson for sale? Im a believer now.

I live in a suburan area, where 99 per cent of neighbors mow their estate size yards (5-20 acres)with Green Colored tractors ,I was told when I built my new home here in 1990 (12 acres with 120 tree orchard)by a close neigbor:"that I was going to have to buy Green Tractors to keep up with Lawn chores",Ok,I said. (I have nothing against John Deere tractors)Went down to my local dealer(Deere) and priced a 430 (13,000 dollars at that time), Just finishing a new home, the new tractor will just have to wait, till later.(I had no money left).Well I remembered that the farmer nearby that I had borrowed his little red tractor at times(since 1986) to bush-hog my building lot(I didnt know what is was,but it always seemed to run well) ,he didnt want paid for its use, just refill the gas tank each time I mowed with it.I asked him this time if he wanted to sell it? He was one of these souls that said:"Everything has a price" well,ok I said, 2000.00,he said 2500.00, I said 2250.00 he said "OK". What I had bought in 1990 was a: 1959 TO-35 Gas Z134 Ferguson Special. This tractor was soon matched with a Woods 6foot finishing mower, In the last 11 years this tractor has never let me down not once! For a 42 year old machine I am impressed! Now more then once when the neighbors Green tractors are down, waiting for parts, etc. They ask to use the old red Ferguson to keep up with their lawn chores..... .....Ferguson:Overbuilt with the Future in Mind.
