I have a 1959 MF50 with 2 stage clutch. My clutch pedal is the earlier type that connects directly to the clutch shaft rather than the adjustable linkage. I have found references to a lockout lever that should be installed on the end of the running board that can be flipped down to prevent accidental declutching of the PTO and hydraulics. As you can see from the attached picture, I am missing these pieces. Does anyone have a picture of a working lever and how it is installed so I can make one up? I believe this would be similar on the TO35 and F40s as they all used basically the same transmission. I have been thinking this would be useful to have at times but I have never seen one. I figure I can rig up something easily enough, but it would be nice to see how the factory did it originally as a guide.

Thanks!
Dan

The clutch stop is an optional piece. It was not included with the tractor. Nothing is hurt by not having this piece.

The purpose was a convenience for people who were running loaders, i.e. cleaning loafing sheds and filling the manure spreader. An thus were shifting gears often. The stop was to allow the operator to stomp down on the clutch lever to shift with out thinking how far down to put the lever to keep the PTO (and thus the loader) operating.
